Ansel Adams is one of the most well known photographers in the U.S., he was born in Feb. 20th 1902. He was both an environmentalist and a photographer, which to me seems like a good combination. When he was a child he did not do well in many schools and was tutored at his home by his Aunt until his parents attempted to move him into a private school. His first photo "The Face of Half Dome" was created in 1960. His appearance is the way it is because when he was four an earthquake caused him to crash into a wall and break his nose. His artistic plan was originally to be a pianist not a photographer. Ansel Adams actually helped create a national park somewhere in America.

Found Panoramics
I chose this photo because of the colors and the lines in the water drawing you to the city's night life.
I like this photo because the colors are amazing and the view you get being between the bridges gives me this sense of leading me into a wonderful city.

Found Faces Story
Joe Handled is a top of the class graduate who now lives in Newberg, Oregon. He has a wife and four children who all live within Newberg High School. He is the strongest of the Handled family. He grew up in Southern California where he was put together and eventually moved up to Newberg to pursue the wild job of being a stair handle bar connector for teenagers to constantly use. He takes his job very seriously and is teaching his kids at a young age to also do his job so when he retires they can take his place as he is the center of the stair handle bar connector, a very highly respected job indeed. Although Joe loves his job and wants his children to take over for him one day, he wants his children to know that he did not just start here and stay. He wants his children to know that he traveled world wide! He learned to be the best at what he does by traveling to Europe, Africa, and the Central Americas working all of his parts through out a U.S. Naval ship. Secretly, he was a fighter. He has been bombed, fought with, and bled on. But he always leaves that part out of his story, because why scare his children away from traveling? "No. That will not do." he has always said to himself, wondering, that maybe just maybe he should reveal the truth to them. Yet, he always seemed slightly scared of this history he had. For this history could have ended his life, and all he ever wanted was to help teenagers have children and do the best job he possibly could.
